The easiest platter of smoked salmon that is as beautiful as it is scrumptious. With the holidays in full bloom, we all have family and friends around all the time, and this is the most perfect thing to whip up in a jiffy that will wow everyone and their bellies. (Side note: christmas is my FAVORITE, and I’m so excited!)
The thing about this platter is that it is very customizable. There are some staples that I think you should have, but there are so many additions that you could feel free to add. It’s all the things I love about cheese boards (check out my cheese board tips), but suitable for brunch smoke salmon…umm yes please. Maybe bust out the mimosas!
Bare minimums: Smoked salmon (your favorite variety), cream cheese and bagels.
Add-ons: tomatoes, red onions, lemon, capers, dill, cucumbers, poached eggs if you want to be fancy
Get creative laying it all out on a platter (any plate or cutting board will do)! I love these kinds of dishes to entertain with because they’re so simply to make, make for a stunning presentation, allow for everyone to pick and choose what they want to eat, and can be done in advance so you’re not slaving away in the kitchen while everyone else is having fun.

- 8-10 bagels
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 24 ounces smoked salmon of choice
- 2-3 roma tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 2 lemons, sliced
- 1/4 cup capers
- Couple sprigs of fresh dill
- Optional additions: cucumbers, poached eggs
- Slice your bagels in half.
- Lay out all the ingredients on a large platter.
- Serve bagels, cream cheese and toppings.
