These adorable mini dutch babies get a savory twist with tomatoes, asparagus, parmesan, and an egg. It’s cute enough to entertain with, easy enough to make for a crowd, and delicious enough to eat all by yourself.
A couple days ago, I posted about sweet mini dutch babies. Here is its savory counterpart. I won’t ramble on about how amazing they are because you can just click here to read about it more. The process is the same, but the sugar is swapped out for some salt and pepper, and the toppings are different.
Some other topping ideas:
Smoked salmon, goat cheese, soft boiled egg, chives
Bacon, fried egg, maple syrup
Chorizo, black beans, salsa, poached egg
Dutch babies, or German pancakes, are so simple to make, great to make for a crowd, extremely delicious, and are super versatile! You know these kinds of things are my favorite – do me proud, and get creative with it!!
So, are you a fan of the sweet or savory dutch babies? Hugs & kisses and ask my best wishes!
