These fun little pieces of toast are all decked out in Nutella, peanut butter, and an assortment of delectable toppings. With avocado toast and different types of toast being such popular breakfast items, I figure this is the best time to take advantage of it, and eat all the sugar for breakfast!
It’s quite simple what you need – some toast, Nutella and/or peanut butter, and toppings. For the toppings, be creative, be adventurous! Just dig through your pantry and try different flavor combinations. I chose pocky sticks, cookies and marshmallows, cereal, avocado and chocolate. There’s avocado involved, so I can definitely eat this for breakfast! The avocado/chocolate combo was my daring attempt for this meal. I’ve got to be honest and say that I loved its appearance more than its taste. It tasted fine, and I would probably eat it again, but my expectations were so high because I was so excited about how pretty it looked.
Other topping suggestions: Oreos, graham crackers, chocolate chips (or butterscotch or cinnamon chips), whatever cereal you have on hand, nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc), etc. Again, go crazy, be creative, and indulge yourself this morning for breakfast. You deserve it!
